Bling Out Storage Drawers

What was on my Christmas list I really wanted to get the Sterilite 5 Drawers you can find at Wal-Mart for around $9.00. I got exactly what I wanted, Needed more storage to store my makeup collection has gotten a little bit bigger, no longer had enough space and these drawers really came in handy, Now I have more space in my vanity drawer. Now you can take inspiration if you like, what I did is blinged out the front of the drawers with these Acrylic Jewels Peel & Stick which you can also find in the craft section in Wal-Mart each packet cost around $2.97 each, a little expensive for jewels but they are worth it because it saves you a lot of time and gets the process done a lot quicker. They have more acrylic jewel designs but I choose the butterflies & flowers to bling out my drawers. I had a lot of fun putting on the jewels and I loved the outcome.

My Christmas Eve Makeup Look

I haven't posted in a long while and here is my holiday look I wore for Christmas Eve. I will list products I have used and pics. I really loved the turn out of his look. I have been inspired by videos of some beauty You Tube guru's and decided to go for a gold eyeshadow on my eyelid and a dark brown in the crease. And to give my eyes more pop I used gold glitter on my eyelid over the gold eyeshadow and topped it off with my L.A. Colors Peal Metallic Eyeliner in Black Pearl & false eyelashes, And for my lips I used a berry color and my look was complete. I really had a fun time doing my makeup.

Profusion My Beauty Collection 96 Color Eyeshadow

Hey everyone, I am here with a new post about this interesting Profusion palette I found at Ross last week. It's called My Beauty Collection 96 Color Eyeshadow. Now I have several Profusion palettes and I love them, so when I found this one, it was the only one in mint condition. I really love the color payoff of the eyeshadows, of course some are more pigmented than others, but regardless majority of the eyeshadows are very pigmented. More of the lighter shades like white, opal white, light pink, light green, shades may need to be packed on more than the darker shades, I really enjoy this palette so far the combination of colors are the reason I purchased this. I wanted a big palette mostly for when I need to travel and don’t want to carry around a bunch of single eyeshadows like the last time, I carried around so much makeup to my April trip to Austin, Texas. I really wish I had this palette before. Profusion palettes are affordable and cheaper than Costal Scents, bh Cosmetics if your looking for great color payoff but at a cheaper price. I do recommend this palette to anyone. Here I will list my pros and cons about this palette and color swatches of the eyeshadows.

   Pros
1.Good color payoff
 2.Big variety of different shades
3.Great color payoff when used wet
4. Eyeshadow lasts a long time when using a good eyeshadow base. (Like elf, NYX)
5.Eyeshadows are metallic and some are shimmers

This is the back cover of the box.
 Here is the palette unopened.
Here is all the colors when palette is opened.
If you can see the blue color next to the charcoal black is the one I am wearing on my eyes. Sliver color on the bottom of the blue shade I have on my lids.
Cons

1.The lighter shades are less pigmented than the daker shades. Need to pack on more color to make the color visible.
2.Be careful if you press on the eyeshadows too hard the eyeshadow will break apart very easily and can cause a mess. Something I don’t like, while others are more resistant wish all the eyeshadows were all the same.
3.They are powdery which may be the cause of the breakage of the eyeshadows when pressed down a bit too hard.

Here are the eyeshadow swatches!!!

Here I am wearing silver on my lids and dark blue on my crease it looks more lighter blue.

If you notice the creasing on top of my eyelid is due to an color eyeshadow base
I used under it.I used elf Duo Shadow Cream in Blueberry.

I recommend this palette if you’re the type that likes, Metallic, Shimmer eyeshadows and if you don’t mind some of the cons mentioned. This can be a very good palette for you, plus 96 color choices for $7.99. You can find Profusion palettes in Ross.

OraLabs Lip Balm

I have tried a few lip balms in the past, As of now the OraLabs Essential Extra Moisture SPF 15 lip balm is my current favorite at this moment. Wearing it on my lips feels soft, hydrated, and I never feel chapped lips. A while ago my dad had this in his truck and I felt my lips dry, I put it on for the first time and I fell in love with it ever since. I wear lip balms anytime, around this time and winter is when my lips can get very dry and I know I can rely on this balm to keep my lips hydrated. I have tried Nivea A Kiss Of Smoothness SPF4 and Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast SPF 15 and I still prefer my OraLabs over both of them. I feel like nothing can keep my lips feeling hydrated well enough like this lip balm, I love to wear this over my lip glosses because of the SPF 15 keep in mind when wearing lip gloss, when you go outside the sun tends to hit your lips and the lip gloss will reflect the sun light more than lipstick because of the shine,  can lead to damage in the long run. Always wear lip balm anytime, with an SPF15 or more under your lipstick or lip gloss whichever way you prefer. I really do recommend this lip balm, of course  keep in mind that if it may not work for you, may work for others.

Advanced Moisturizing with aloe, Vitamin E, and sunscreen protection. For cracked, dry lips, pucker-up with Lip Moisture lip balm by OraLabs. Our formulas are packed with moisturizers and Vitamin E to help heal your lips fast. SPF 15

You can check out OralLabs website for more lip balm options

Makeup Haul

Today I went on a little shopping spree and bought me some makeup products, I wanted to try out. Right now in my local HEB has been having coupon deals lately and boy have I gone overboard. My newest items will be first, and to the last items I purchased last week. Now if you live in Texas HEB (Here Everything is Better) has been having coupons way more now than in the past especially in my HEB. If you don't have a HEB where you are from, that's okay at the end I will post links where you can find coupons for makeup etc. Note I will be reviewing each makeup individually stay tuned for that. Always check for coupons in the Sunday newspaper, online, or your local Supermarket, Drugstore also can have coupons or buy one get one 50 % off.

Now these are the Project Runway Limited Edition Collection. Now I was only able to find the blushes and 3 lipsticks my HEB doesn't have much selection which sucks, but the lip sticks I was not really interested in the colors expect for Sultry Raven's Pout and it is a beautiful nude pinkish color but HEB didn't have it. I was interested in these blushes these are the shades I liked the most, the one on the left is 225 Watchful Owl's Blush and the one on the right is 625 Audacious Amazon's Blush. Now there are 2 more blushes in the collection, Charming Cockatoo's Blush & Sultry Raven's Blush.  All the blushes cost $9.95 each.

I also picked up the ALMAY smart shade in 300 medium SPF 15, now this foundation claims to have flaw erase technology, which I am not sure in the old packaging when the smart shade first came out I don't remember seeing that it had flaw erase technology but don't quote me on that just and observation. Cost $9.98 and the store had a $2.50 dollar off coupon cost me $7.48.

Lately I have been obsessed with the Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stains and this one I bought was in the color Desire now this shade is hard to find because it always sells out but luckily just brought them back in stock to sell out again haha. Lip stain cost $7.97 and I had a $1.00 off coupon cost $6.97.

These single shadows cost $1.99 each and is pretty affordable the shades I got are # 45 back to khaki,  # 01 chill out, # 03 starlight, #44 it's up to you. essence has more shades to choose from. Some can be matte to shimmer & metallic eyeshadows, essence is a German makeup company.

Here are some links to coupon sites that can have makeup coupons, they may not have a selection of makeup coupons, but I have printed from these sites where I have bought the makeup because of the coupons I found.

Broadway Nails

Today I did my nails to complete my mission 4 on Broadway Nails Facebook page.  Plus I thought I would treat myself to get my nails done. I love getting my nails done whenever I have free time, I am in love with these Fast French nails. Here in detail how to apply and to remove these nails. You can find the instructions on the back of box.

These are the Fast French in real short length # 50836 BFD14 its a ten minute manicure. Prepare your nails clean nails with acetone-based polish remover. Select the correct size nails for each finger. If needed, file sides for the best fit.

How To Apply Nails

  1. Apply glue to nail
  2. Apply thin layer of glue to natural nail
  3. Starting at cuticle, press on & hold for 5 seconds

How To Remove

1. Do not force or pull nails off
2. Trim and file surface to break through protective topcoat.
3. Soak nails in acetone based polish remover until soft. Wipe off softened plastic and glue. Repeat as necessary.

.

Note: Wear beyond 7 days is not recommended.
Also using pink gel glue for stronger, longer wear.

I am in love with these Fashion Diva Nail Art with the nails as mentioned above, these stickers will make your basic French Nail look amazing. I totally recommend these Nail Art Stickers to anyone!! Here are the numbers and names of each of the 3 Nail Art. These are the ones I was sent, Broadway has more Nail Art designs.

  1.  On the left # 53129 BGNA03 in Keep Me, are the Color Changing ones
  2. One on the middle # 54227 BNA09 in Glimmer
  3. On the right are the ones I am using on my nails # 54226 BNA08 in Classic
How To Apply
  1. Apply polish or top coat if desired. Let dry.
  2. Peel sticker from paper and place on desired position. A tip is to use a cuticle stick and try to pick at the sticker until the sticker sticks to the tip of the cuticle stick and place on desired part of the artificial nail. This will be a lot easier.
  3. Apply top coat to seal. Let dry.
These are the results I got :)

My Current Favorite Mascara

Right now I have been wearing my ColorMates mascara in black and if you haven't heard of ColorMates is a makeup line that prices range from $1.00 to $2.00. Now this mascara is only $1.00 at my local H.E.B so it is cheap which is good prices vary from store to state. I have seen this online priced at $6.49 on Amazon.com so if you can find this a little cheaper that would be great.

This is a creme mascara, waterproof, color black and has a curved brush plus the packaging is cute. Why it is my favorite mascara it not only gives my lashes volume it also separates them very well and I like that it doesn't clump my lashes which I like, it makes my lashes look full, noticeable. What also helps me get that look first I curl my lashes with my e.l.f mechanical eyelash curler from the dollar line. Curl them twice apply this mascara and my lashes are perfect. Now your thinking a dollar mascara can't do that but it can this mascara works for me it is my current favorite and for a dollar you can't beat that.

Broadway Nails

Looking for cheaper alternatives from getting your nails done in a salon, which we all know can be costly. If your on a budget, You wanna get your nails done than Broadway nails can do the job. With the recession you need to save more and Broadway nails is affordable and you get more for your money. Prices can range from $5 to7$ a nail kit,  it depends where you buy them, and you can find them in any drug store, Supermarket. Being a Broadway Nails Brand Ambassador I have the privilege to try there products for free and to give my opinion on the products and which products are my favorites. Now just because I am a Brand Ambassador doesn't mean I am going to be biased and give great comments, some products have been hit and misses but for the price you really can't complain  Here are some pictures of products I have tried and I'm gonna sum it up and give a short comment and you can try them out for yourself. I am fan of the company and the products they produce are cute, fun, classy, elegant, they have a wide range of different nail designs check them out you might enjoy them too.

These are great for that french manicure simple and classy these are the short length if your the girl on the go and yes I don't like to wear medium length all the time  these are great and they last you for about 7 days but for me since I am very active they will last me about 3 to 4 days before some nails will start to come off and I have to re glue. But they are still good and they look good.

If you like a more nail design look than try these to get that diva look. I have worn these to party's and clubs and they are fabulous plus I have gotten compliments on these, for the inner diva in us all.

Now these are cool because like your typical stick on nails these are nail stickers you stick on to your nails eliminating the use of nail glue to stick on your artificial nail. Sadly these were a bit of a challenge to put on and I don't recommend using these with short nails. A medium length nail would be a lot easier to put on. I put these on to my short nail length and it was a hassle and frustrating and when I finally got them on they quickly starting chipping off even with a top coat. Use a clear top coat to make them last longer.

This is the result these are the pink cheetah print with hint of yellow, green, blue at the bottom of the nail.

Now these were my favorite nail design they are the Harajuku style and these are a take on the french nail design but with different colors on the bottom of the nail and black french tip. Add some Broadway nail art stickers to add a bit more cuteness to your nails. Lasting power unfortunately lasted me about 4 days before some nails started coming off, mostly because I am an active person but it was worth it of course lasting power will vary from person to person.

These are the result and yes these are my favorite nails so far.
