L.A. COLORS professional series Eyeshadow Shader & Blender Brush

Today I went to the Family Dollar not expecting to buy anything makeup related, if you haven't already heard about the new LA. COLORS brushes that just recently came out. Watching reviews and hauls on YouTube I found out about these new brushes from watching several videos. Hearing pretty decent comments on them, I decided to check them out. Of course L.A COLORS offers 2 more brushes in there line, an all over face brush and blush brush. The point of this entry is to talk about the brushes I did buy. I have to say, They are pretty good eyeshadow & blending brushes, Of course compared to lets say E.L.F. eyeshadow & blending brushes from there .99cent line, lets say size wise L.A. COLORS are more like travel size brushes compared to the brush sizes of E.L.F. eyeshadow & blending brush but of course if size matter to you then I wouldn't suggest buying these brushes.Overall L.A. COLORS eyeshadow brushes has more natural fibers than compared to E.L.F. .99 cent eyeshadow brush. You can get a good amount of eyeshadow, goes on really well on my eyelids and yes this brush is a lot more softer than the E.L.F eyeshadow brush. If your the type that likes soft eyeshadow brushes I would definitely in vest in buying these brushes.  I really enjoy the eyeshadow brushes very much, would buy more in the future. Blending brush also worked pretty good as well I can't compare between the L.A COLORS to the E.L.F. blending brush because I don't own one yet, in the future I will buy one and then compare the 2. But for now I can say these brushes are worth the $2.00 your paying for if your looking for good but cheaper options I can say L.A. Colors eyeshadow shader & blender brush are worth buying.

Here is the link to the L.A. COLORS website to check out the other brushes available. You can find these brushes at your local Family Dollar.

Do we really need to abide by the rules by wearing colors just for our skin tones only?

I am a Latina and proud of it but when it comes to what type of makeup colors especially eyeshadows to wear, mostly advice given by beauty guru's say we need to wear colors best suited for our skin tones, And if your Latin and an example is Jessica Alba or Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Eva Mendez you have warm skin. Eyeshadow colors that best suits our skin tone are olive green, rust, beige, chocolate browns, earthy reds and oranges  I personally love those colors and wear them from time to time but the truth is they start to bore me after awhile. Don’t get me wrong I love those color eyeshadows but to just say we need to stick to only those colors is bull, yes they do best compliment your features I cannot wear those colors every single day. I love my purple, pink, blue, black, grey, teal and colors more suited for other skin tones than my own. No matter what comments or criticism as long as I don’t apply my make up as a  clown. I think we can wear whatever colors of eyeshadows we love and choose I mean why settle for a few colors when we have our pick of all those beautiful shades
