Fruit Of The Earth E Vitamin E Skin Care Cream

It has been a long time since my last post. My review will be on this skin care cream I bought last month. February was the worst time facial wise, I had very dry skin, I had an allergic reaction that caused my nose and mouth area to be completely dry. I tried using bio oil, my regular moisturizers, nothing seemed to get rid of this dryness, until my mother recommended this face cream. Fruit Of The Earth Skin Care Cream can be purchased at Wal Mart in a value pack for $5.00. After using this product my face has felt so moisturized, it soothed the dryness I had been feeling and wearing this product my face has felt softer ever since. Now this  cream is on the thick side, since my skin was so dry it instantly felt so much better.

    imPRESS Broadway Nails Press-On Manicure

Update, sadly as much as I love the French Manicure glue on nails the imPRESS nails did not last too long on me. Being as active as I am sadly some nails stayed on fine while others started to chip and come off within 3 days. I do recommend these nails for a one time only use.
Today I finally finished mission 5, I've had a lot of things going on that I would've finished sooner. I finally got my nails done today, And they are super easy to apply I will update this blog in about 5 days to see how my nails have held up. My first impression is they are super easy to apply, These new nails are pretty cool and they have a lot more cute designs to choose from. Here are some pictures!! Definitely go and try them out.

    on the french nail.

    Favorite Celebrity Makeup Looks

Here is a list of recent & not so recent makeup looks used on these celebrities. I have been inspired on several of these looks and maybe recreate these looks here on my blog.

2 days ago I picked up the new February 2012  issue of People Style Watch which is my favorite magazine for new makeup products, fashion etc. And I saw the Revlon ads of Emma Stone & Olivia Wilde. Oh my gosh how pretty the makeup looks on both of them.

Adele has an awesome voice and who hasn't sang along to Rolling In The Deep? What I didn't notice before is Adele's makeup. Wow I love how she rocks a black winged eyeliner. Her makeup is omg!! Gorgeous Do I need to say more.

Jessica Alba what can I say about her, she is gorgeous obviously, this makeup is just lovely, love the color eyeshadow, black eyeliner, lips are a nude color, blush has just a hint of color.

This look has a lot more color in terms of silver & black smokey eye. Red lips & nails!! Yes I do like this look for a girls night out.
Yes Kim Khardashian reality T.V star well I don't quite agree with the celebrity status but okay normally she goes for smokey eyeshadow looks, nude lip color in the daytime. We all know her preferred makeup style.  But this picture caught my attention for that matte black eyeshadow and shimmering sliver in the crease with that pretty fuchsia lip color.

Now this look is neutral eyes, warm blush, nude lips. This makeup looks better on her than a goop of makeup she normally wears. I love neutral!!

This KPOP star is known for being sexy & sultry 4 Minute member Hyuna has had many different looks in all 4 Minute videos I have seen to very dramatic to natural makeup. Hyuna is probably the only one that can get away with not wearing any makeup and still be rocking it.

Elizabeth Olsen younger sister of child star twins Mary Kate & Ashely Olsen. Now she may have features that  resemble her older sisters, to be quite honest she is the prettier Olsen sister. Her makeup here just looks fresh & youthful. Elizabeth maybe not wear bold or dramatic makeup, but her makeup style is appropriate for younger & older women.

Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Edge Control Hair Gel

For as long as I can remember I have been on the hunt to find a hair gel that can control my baby hairs/edges. I have tried so many products countless hair spray's, hair gel's and nothing has ever worked to keep my baby hairs sleek & hold down. My favorite discontinued pomade that L'OREAL used to sell 9 yrs ago in a aqua blue packaging it was my favorite pomade ever, it left my hair/baby hairs sleek, shiny, manageable. Everything I have tried after that product was discontinued has left my hair so crunchy from using hair spray & gel would  flake, just nothing ever worked as good as this new hair gel I bought at Wal Mart. I have had this hair product for about 2 weeks now, finally found a product that works on controlling my baby hairs keeping them sleek & hold down. This stuff is even better than my old favorite pomade from L'OREAL. I would recommend this product it will control your edges/baby hairs. So in love with this product, if I run out guaranteed, will buy another one. This product is pretty affordable depending where you buy, got mine for $4.99.

Olive Oil Edge Control slicks and holds down edges while adding shine and moisture to the hair. This non sticky, non-greasy formula provides excellent hold without hardening the hair. Ideal for maintaining slick styles perfect for relaxed and natural hair. This is the claim on the back of the box and I would have to agree this stuff really works and I love it. To apply to desired area and smooth fingertips for desired hold.
Contains no alcohol gives superior hold no flaking
great for relaxed & natural hair. I experienced no hardening or flaking which is definitely a plus. Holds very well keeps my edges sleek and hold down, giving me that shine, adding moisture to my hair. It's non greasy, non sticky. Plus it smells really good too!
As you can see it looks like a clear gel. Just one little tip that if you apply this close to your edges and your wearing liquid foundation it can turn this gel from clear to white. No problem it is not the formula of this gel its the clash between the color of the foundation that makes it turn white. A little bit annoying when that happens but as long as you don't put this gel close to your edges when wearing liquid foundation it will be fine. It has happened to me twice to get rid of the white just apply with some clean water and the white cast will be gone.

Check out there website for more hair products!!!

    Kiss Premium Eyelashes

Last month I went to my dollar tree and saw they had the Kiss fake eyelashes, I was shocked because they still sell them at Wal Mart for about $3.47 each which is pretty affordable. I have been using fake lashes lately, pretty much enjoy them. At first putting on fake lashes are pretty frustrating to get them close to your real lashes, I got the hang of it now. To apply fake lashes you can use your fingers or tweezers, I prefer my fingers. These lashes come with the string applicator for easy application. Well using the string applicator didn't work for me at all. It took me longer with the string applicator. I just removed them and applying with my fingers worked easier for me. I really like these lashes! if your looking for inexpensive but cute looking lashes, why not give these a try.

The pics you see below are these eyelashes I am wearing. To show you how they look on!

Here are the #02 from above, I was wearing on New Years Eve. I really love these!!
This eyelash glue is pretty good. It does keep my lashes on and they don't come off. I wanted to give this adhesive a try since I have heard good reviews on this product. This product is white and dries clear. Don't want to try this you can also get duo eyelash adhesive in clear or black.
Adhesive is a 24 hr wear. Okay I may not wear fake lashes for 24 hrs but for 8 hrs its a pretty good adhesive my lashes stay in place. I love the applicator for this glue, it makes applying the glue on to the lash band easy and its not messy.

essence quattro eyeshadow & metallic eyeliner review

This eyeshadow quad I picked up a week ago at my HEB is what I wore in my New Years Eve look. It comes in 4 colors a sliver, blue, black with sliver shimmers infused, deeper blue infused with purple shimmers. I used the blues the denim blue is more pigmented than the blue shade, you need to pack on the blue a bit more than the denim blue. For $2.99 its not bad at all. This line is pretty affordable, eyeshadow did last me through the night, still used an eyeshadow base. They are also easy to blend, I also used there metallic blue eyeliner $1.49 what caught my attention, it is a pretty blue eyeliner, then I noticed it is metallic. I used it on my waterline and it does give off a metallic finish but its not a long lasting eyeliner, and not as creamy as there .99 eyeliners. I set it with the blue eyeshadow in the quad palette to make it last longer it did help make it last but in the outer corner it started to fade so I kept setting it with a powder. Overall the eyeliner isn't the best but it is a pretty blue does give off a metallic finish not long lasting, not as creamy but for the price its an okay eyeliner pencil, the eyeshadow quad is also nice, the black and blue shades caught my attention the black isn't as pigmented, the blue shades one is more pigmented than the other, for the price its cheap and affordable. You can find essance cosmetics in HEB or Ulta.

This quad caught my attention for the black & blue shades question is. Are they pigmented? 4 long lasting, trendy shades for creating endless looks, easy to apply.
    # 09 denim 4.0
I was disappointed in the black eyeshadow with one swipe its sheer and shimmery and gives off a sliver color instead of black. You need to pack on more color to get the black to look black. Sliver is pigmented, the blues as you can see one is more pigmented than the other. Overall its a pretty palette!!

#05 Heavy Metal it is a pretty blue does give off a metallic finish not long lasting, not as creamy but for the price its an okay eyeliner pencil.

Here is a swatch of the eyeliner as you can see it has a metallic finish.

Here is what the eyeshadow & eyeliner look like on me. Here I used denim blue in my crease, black in the outer v and the blue in my lid.

    My New Years Eve Look

The holidays are pretty much over, we rang in a new year. This is the look I rocked for New Years Eve last night. As I said in my last posts I would once again do a glitter sparkly look. This look was fun to create and my inspiration was a blue ornament we have on our tree. You can recreate this look on any going out occasion  Hope everyone had a fun New Years!!
