For as long as I can remember I have been on the hunt to find a hair gel that can control my baby hairs/edges. I have tried so many products countless hair spray's, hair gel's and nothing has ever worked to keep my baby hairs sleek & hold down. My favorite discontinued pomade that L'OREAL used to sell 9 yrs ago in a aqua blue packaging it was my favorite pomade ever, it left my hair/baby hairs sleek, shiny, manageable. Everything I have tried after that product was discontinued has left my hair so crunchy from using hair spray & gel would flake, just nothing ever worked as good as this new hair gel I bought at Wal Mart. I have had this hair product for about 2 weeks now, finally found a product that works on controlling my baby hairs keeping them sleek & hold down. This stuff is even better than my old favorite pomade from L'OREAL. I would recommend this product it will control your edges/baby hairs. So in love with this product, if I run out guaranteed, will buy another one. This product is pretty affordable depending where you buy, got mine for $4.99.
Olive Oil Edge Control slicks and holds down edges while adding shine and moisture to the hair. This non sticky, non-greasy formula provides excellent hold without hardening the hair. Ideal for maintaining slick styles perfect for relaxed and natural hair. This is the claim on the back of the box and I would have to agree this stuff really works and I love it. To apply to desired area and smooth fingertips for desired hold.
Contains no alcohol gives superior hold no flaking
great for relaxed & natural hair. I experienced no hardening or flaking which is definitely a plus. Holds very well keeps my edges sleek and hold down, giving me that shine, adding moisture to my hair. It's non greasy, non sticky. Plus it smells really good too!
As you can see it looks like a clear gel. Just one little tip that if you apply this close to your edges and your wearing liquid foundation it can turn this gel from clear to white. No problem it is not the formula of this gel its the clash between the color of the foundation that makes it turn white. A little bit annoying when that happens but as long as you don't put this gel close to your edges when wearing liquid foundation it will be fine. It has happened to me twice to get rid of the white just apply with some clean water and the white cast will be gone.
