Kiss Premium Eyelashes

Last month I went to my dollar tree and saw they had the Kiss fake eyelashes, I was shocked because they still sell them at Wal Mart for about $3.47 each which is pretty affordable. I have been using fake lashes lately, pretty much enjoy them. At first putting on fake lashes are pretty frustrating to get them close to your real lashes, I got the hang of it now. To apply fake lashes you can use your fingers or tweezers, I prefer my fingers. These lashes come with the string applicator for easy application. Well using the string applicator didn't work for me at all. It took me longer with the string applicator. I just removed them and applying with my fingers worked easier for me. I really like these lashes! if your looking for inexpensive but cute looking lashes, why not give these a try.

 This eyelash glue is pretty good. It does keep my lashes on and they don't come off. I wanted to give this adhesive a try since I have heard good reviews on this product. This product is white and dries clear. Don't want to try this you can also get duo eyelash adhesive in clear or black.

 Adhesive is a 24 hr wear. Okay I may not wear fake lashes for 24 hrs but for 8 hrs its a pretty good adhesive my lashes stay in place. I love the applicator for this glue, it makes applying the glue on to the lash band easy and its not messy.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter Review Coming Soon!!

 I have been hearing a lot of hype over this ColorBurst Lip Butter. I have seen many reviews and blog posts that I have fallen victim of wanting to get my hands on them. Everybody wants them and availability is not nation wide although I heard this month they should be available everywhere. My local HEB just got them in last week and to my luck they haven't sold out here. I finally got my hands on them, I bought 10 shades, yes 10 maybe a bit overboard Had to scoop them up before the popular shades were gone and yes they are selling fast. HEB if you don't know is a grocery store here in Texas, they are having 3 dollar off in store coupon on any Revlon Face & Lip . These Lip Butters cost $7.47 each with the in store coupon $4.47 with tax which is not bad. If you have a chance get them its a good deal. I will have a full review of this soon!!

essence quattro eyeshadow & metallic eyeliner review

This eyeshadow quad I picked up a week ago at my HEB is what I wore in my New Years Eve look. It comes in 4 colors a sliver, blue, black with sliver shimmers infused, deeper blue infused with purple shimmers. I used the blues the denim blue is more pigmented than the blue shade, you need to pack on the blue a bit more than the denim blue. For $2.99 its not bad at all. This line is pretty affordable, eyeshadow did last me through the night, still used an eyeshadow base. They are also easy to blend, I also used there metallic blue eyeliner $1.49 what caught my attention, it is a pretty blue eyeliner, then I noticed it is metallic. I used it on my waterline and it does give off a metallic finish but its not a long lasting eyeliner, and not as creamy as there .99 eyeliners. I set it with the blue eyeshadow in the quad palette to make it last longer it did help make it last but in the outer corner it started to fade so I kept setting it with a powder. Overall the eyeliner isn't the best but it is a pretty blue does give off a metallic finish not long lasting, not as creamy but for the price its an okay eyeliner pencil, the eyeshadow quad is also nice, the black and blue shades caught my attention the black isn't as pigmented, the blue shades one is more pigmented than the other, for the price its cheap and affordable. You can find essance cosmetics in HEB or Ulta.

This quad caught my attention for the black & blue shades question is. Are they pigmented? 4 long lasting, trendy shades for creating endless looks, easy to apply.

# 09 denim 4.0

I was disappointed in the black eyeshadow with one swipe its sheer and shimmery and gives off a sliver color instead of black. You need to pack on more color to get the black to look black. Sliver is pigmented, the blues as you can see one is more pigmented than the other. Overall its a pretty palette!!

 

#05 Heavy Metal it is a pretty blue does give off a metallic finish not long lasting, not as creamy but for the price its an okay eyeliner pencil.

My New Years Eve Look

The holidays are pretty much over, we rang in a new year. This is the look I rocked for New Years Eve last night. As I said in my last posts I would once again do a glitter sparkly look. This look was fun to create and my inspiration was a blue ornament we have on our tree. You can recreate this look on any going out occasion  Hope everyone had a fun New Years!!

My Favorite Liquid Foundations for 2011

As the new year is approaching here is a list of my favorite foundations I have purchased for 2011 and so far my list hasn't changed. I love these foundations because they work for me, since I have dry sensitive skin I tend to go for foundations that are more dewy instead of matte but if I do buy a matte foundation just out of not knowing it was a matte texture. I would use my Hard Candy Sheer Envy Skin Perfecting Primer and the foundation goes on a lot smoother and doesn't feel drying. Please keep mind not all foundations work the same for everyone.

 1.I really love this foundation for its not there feeling. It feels like I am not wearing foundation at all. This is a light and can build to medium coverage but I like it for those days I don't feel like wearing foundation but have to. This foundation has a scent of cucumber, if you don't like cucumber scent your not gonna like this one.

2.Almay Line Smoothing Makeup SPF 15 # 220 Neutral

I don't have a pic but this is my favorite foundation its similar to the CoverGirl natureluxe it feels natural and both foundations have cucumber ingredient to make the skin feel refreshed. Everytime I put on this foundation I feel cool and refreshed and I like how its dewy and its medium to full coverage it can build to full coverage.

 3.This foundation is intended for people with dry skin, I really like this foundation it leaves my skin looking nice and I like the coverage on this foundation it doesn't feel drying on my face. It blends easily and using a flat top kabuki brush it looks even better.

 4.This foundation is becoming a favorite of mine. This foundation is a creme foundation it blends nicely and creme foundations tend to look better when taking photos which it really does. Its a dewy foundation

its anti aging which is great for women who are 25 and older. I really like my foundations to have SPF to help protect against sun damage. This foundation is light to medium coverage.

5. I really like this foundation it blends nicely and its also an anti aging foundation. I wouldn't say it gives great coverage but it gives you more of a concentrated coverage. If your looking for a full coverage foundation this isn't the one but it goes great on my skin it gives me a healthy looking appearance. Plus I like the ingredients in this foundation.

6.Maybelline New York Fit Me foundation SPF 18 #225 Medium Buff

This foundation was everywhere on T.v  commercials on every woman's magazine this foundation was all the hype when it first came out. Tempted to buy this foundation its pitch was a natural looking coverage with gel and pigments not weighing your skin down but making it feel light with the sense of feeling like your not wearing foundation. This is light to medium coverage this isn't full coverage. Its dewy which is for people with dry skin.

 7.Now this foundation I bought on a whim I didn't know it was more of a matte texture until I saw reviews on YouTube that this foundation is for women that have oily skin. Its a pretty expensive foundation for drugstore. I use this with a face primer and I pretty much love the texture, it blends effortlessly. For women with oily skin its great, for women with dry skin please use a face primer because it can be drying. 

 8.This foundation is a liquid mousse texture giving you an airbrushed finish. Now this foundation will not give you the illusion of an airbrushed look but it will leave you with an even coverage, its a light to medium coverage. I really like this foundation it leaves my skin looking nice. It blends evenly!!

 9.This foundation is said to be one of CoverGirl #1 selling foundations. I tried it without a face primer well it covers really well even covers my imperfections but it started drying me up in my nose area. Then I figured it does have a matte texture. This foundation will not settle into fine lines and wrinkles which can be the reason it feels matte. This foundation does not give a dewy feel which is great for women with oily skin, women with dry skin it will be drying, wear a face primer, makeup will go on smoothly and it won't be as drying. It is an anti aging foundation with a moisturizer. Coverage is medium to full.

10.This foundation is supposed to be an exact match of your skin tone. Which eliminates the process of trying to find a foundation that is an exact match of your skin tone and being disappointed that the foundation ended up   too light or too dark. It makes the process quick and easy. I choose medium it isn't the best drugstore foundation out there. Its nice it doesn't feel cakey. It comes out white and turns to a medium shade. It has a cool concept, if your a beginner in makeup and want to try something not so intimidating this is good for that. Comes in shades light & medium from what I have seen in stores.

Sally Girl Sparkle Effects Loose Glitter

Last week I had purchased Sally Girl Sparkle Effects Loose Glitters, you can find them at any Sally Beauty Supply Store. Thanks to stephbusta on YouTube I saw she rocked a purple eyeshadow/glitter New Years look. I was curious to see how these glitters work. I have never used glitter over eyeshadow before and I wanted to give it a try and it's really not that complicated to do. I went into Sally Beauty Supply Store, And purchased 5 different color glitters. And I rocked the gold glitter called Gold Digger on my Christmas Eve makeup look and I really like these glitters. Reasons are the price, for .99 cents each you can't go wrong, Also it will make your eyes look so glam/glitzy. With these glitters you also have to pick up the Sally Girl Sparkle Effects Gel Adhesive also .99 cents to adhere your glitter on top of your eyelid to prevent glitter getting all over your face. If you cannot find the gel adhesive any clear lipgloss, clear eyelash glue will do anything clear with a sticky base will do. These glitters are not very fine but for the price it's pretty good and I don't mind it cause for .99 cents you can't beat it.

I recommend these glitters for your eyes, Sally Girl does have a few more colors to choose from these were my favorites! I still want to buy 3 more colors : )

 This is the gel adhesive you get to place the glitter on top of your eyeshadow to make your eyes sparkle just one warning is that even with this adhesive there will be some fall out regardless but if you don't mind that than it's all good.  Tip if you don't want fall out during the process of placing the glitter on your eyelid just put on your foundation/powder after, start with your eyes first then foundation afterward. Placing the amount of glitter you want on your eyelid to place glitter you can use your finger or I used e.l.f eyeliner brush. You can remove fall out with a makeup remover wipe. Removing the glitter is not hard just remove with any eye makeup remover or makeup remover wipes.

 Here I am wearing gold eyeshadow, using a gold eyeshadow base will help to bring out the color more, then I placed Gold Digger on top of my eyeshadow to give me that sparkly eye look. When to wear glitters I would suggest wearing them out on a night of clubbing or a date night. And the holidays especially New Years is coming up and I will be doing a sparkly eye look again.

Bling Out Storage Drawers

 What was on my Christmas list I really wanted to get the Sterilite 5 Drawers you can find at Wal-Mart for around $9.00. I got exactly what I wanted, Needed more storage to store my makeup collection has gotten a little bit bigger, no longer had enough space and these drawers really came in handy, Now I have more space in my vanity drawer. Now you can take inspiration if you like, what I did is blinged out the front of the drawers with these Acrylic Jewels Peel & Stick which you can also find in the craft section in Wal-Mart each packet cost around $2.97 each, a little expensive for jewels but they are worth it because it saves you a lot of time and gets the process done a lot quicker. They have more acrylic jewel designs but I choose the butterflies & flowers to bling out my drawers. I had a lot of fun putting on the jewels and I loved the outcome.

My Christmas Eve Makeup Look

I haven't posted in a long while and here is my holiday look I wore for Christmas Eve. I will list products I have used and pics. I really loved the turn out of his look. I have been inspired by videos of some beauty You Tube guru's and decided to go for a gold eyeshadow on my eyelid and a dark brown in the crease. And to give my eyes more pop I used gold glitter on my eyelid over the gold eyeshadow and topped it off with my L.A. Colors Peal Metallic Eyeliner in Black Pearl & false eyelashes, And for my lips I used a berry color and my look was complete. I really had a fun time doing my makeup.
